Clinique Chubby Stick Intense in Grandest Grape - Review...

Now, I'm sure you all know the amazingly gorgeous Youtuber/Blogger that is Amelia Liana. I find her one of the most influential people when it comes to beauty and fashion and when she loves something, I'm going to buy it. Last Autumn she put this product on my radar and then when it come around this Autumn and she still loved it, it had to be mine!
So many brands have released their versions of this product, but I personally think the Clinique Chubby Sticks are the best. The crayon makes it super easy to apply, almost like using a big lip liner. The finish is glossy but it's still really long lasting. It's so comfortable to wear, it just feels like a lip balm but with a little more wow factor. Once the glossy finish has worn away it leaves you with a really pretty stain. I've worn this to work before and left at the end of the day still happy with how it's left my lips. This shade is a really pretty pink but with a deeper plum tone to it, which makes it especially great for this time of year.
I really fancy trying some other colours in these so let me know if there's any shades you love!

MUA Eyeshadow in Copper - Review ...

MUA Eyeshadow in Copper - £1

This eye shadow was £1, £1?! Such a bargain! Sorry haha, just needed to get that out of the way first. We all know how amazing MUA is for value but for some reason I don't really gravitate to it very much, but I need to definitely check it out more often! To start with, the size of this is amazing for £1, I actually think this will probably last me forever, or at least until it goes out of date, then I will happily repurchase this. The quality of this eye shadow is also amazing, it's buttery soft, better quality then some high end brands I've tried! A little really goes a super duper long way, so use sparingly. I have been using this just in the middle of my lids to make my eyes appear larger and really catch the sun light. It looks really pretty with brown crease work and highlighting the inner corner.
If you haven't checked these out then I recommend you do, they have some amazing shades, all shimmery so if you're into that then have a looky look.

Pretty, pretty, pretty :)

What's in my bag #1 ...

If there's one thing I love it's moseying on through someone's handbag. I love to see what crap they like to carrying around with them on a daily basis. So I thought I'd share mine with you all.
My handbag is a really leather studded one from Topshop which I was kindly gifted with last Christmas. It's lasted amazingly and doesn't look like it's nearly a year old at all. It's the perfect size for fitting loads of rubbish in that I think I need with me at all times. Let's start with the basics. My purse is from Asos and is also real leather. It was recently in the Asos sale for £15 which is a bargain. If you didn't already know I love being organised and the thought of being able to store everything in my purse in designated areas excites me greatly. It is huge though, and I'll often just use it as a clutch bag and really inappropriately large for everyday shopping, to start with it takes forever to try and get out of your bag just to pay for your food shopping, but I love it. It's amazing for traveling, especially when you have to print off all those annoying confirmation details. Other basics thrown in my bag are chewing gum, eyelash glue, hand sanitizer and body spray. I'm sure you can all guess what that junk is for. I have two pairs of sunglasses in there depending what I'm fancying on the day. The spotty pair are from Primark and are my current favourite. I also have my new earrings in there from River Island in there because I took them out at some point, while I was taking these photos I actually found them in there after loosing them for ages. Probably my most usual but sentimental item in my bag is my worry stone. My Dad actually bought me this when I was going through some stressful stuff and he was away. I keep it in my bag to just remind me to destress and take everything as it comes.
Then obviously there are a tonne of lip products in there, as there are in any girls handbag. At the moment I have the 17 Mirror Shine Lipstick in Bolshie which is my favourite to throw and it also has a mirror too. Then Max Factor Colour Elixir Gloss in Polished Fuschia which is another easy pink gloss to throw on while you're out and about. I often carry a vampy shade in my bag to take a look from day to night just in case, today that is the Daniel Sandler Lipstick in Casablanca, it's just a really glossy deep red shade. My favourite lip balm at the moment is the Palmers Cocoa Butter Lipbalm just incase my lips are sore and dry while I'm out and about.

I'd love to know what junk you carry around with you and why?
I don't think mine is too bad, I've seen much worse.

Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation - Review...

I know all you fellow bloggers and general females out there will know the feeling of buying make up, especially high end make up. In my mind there's high end make up (Mac, Nars, Benefit, etc) then there's luxury make up brands (Chanel, Dior, Charlotte Tilbury, etc) and I always thought Giorgio Armani was branded with a super luxury price tag but I was pleasantly surprised to see that it's no where near as expensive as I first thought. I was doing my usual habit of scrolling through make up sites when I spotted that Debenhams had a sale on everything including make up so I thought I would take advantage. I'm use to spending a little bit more on foundations, in my opinion you definitely get what you pay for when it comes to foundations. Anyway, I saw in the sale that this Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation was £30 which was 50p less than I was going to spend on a repurchase of my beloved Nars Sheer Glow Foundation so I thought I'd give it a go first.
So far I am in love. I've been trying this out now for 2-3 weeks and it's definitely worth the hype. Everything about it is super luxurious and lovely. I chose the shade 4.5 which is slightly too light more me but I make it work with bronzer, and it also means I can get away with it all year round. The texture is really liquidy, unlike the Nars Sheer Glow, a little doesn't go a long way. I use two pumps to cover my face and with other foundations I usually only use one. It just adsorbs so perfectly into the skin but feels light and lets your skin really breathe. I have problems with oil and that normally stops foundations from lasting for long periods of time and that's what I was just use to. However, since I've found this my make up lasts ages. This is the most long lasting foundation I've ever tried. A bold claim to make, I know, but for me it's amazing. My oils don't seep out throughout the day, and with a primer it's even better. It blends without effort and I would actually go as far as saying it's fool proof. I have a few red spots at the moment, which I would normally cake in concealer but with this foundation I feel like I could actually go out without concealer and not feel like everyone is talking to my spots and not me!

Could this be my new favourite foundation?

Quick Beauty Haul...

 MUA Eye Shadow in Copper
Giorgio Armani Eyes To Kill in Lust Red 02
Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation in 4.5
Clinique Chubby Stick Intense in Grandest Grape

Debenhams has recently had an amazing sale on recently on EVERYTHING, including beauty. So I got my ass online and take adavantage! I thought it was about time I picked up a few things that I've had my eye on for a long time while they were discounted. To start with I picked up the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation in 4.5, this has the most amazing reviews from everyone and because I'm running out of my beloved Nars Sheer Glow so I thought I'd try this one. The glass packaging is amazing, it's so luxurious and just feels incredible. Next on my want list was the Clinique Chubby Stick Intense in Grandest Grape, Amelia Liana made me get this and the foundation to be honest. She looks amazing in both and raves about them so I needed them. It's a really gorgeous pulm toned pink, slightly similar to Mac's Rebel Lipstick but I prefer the texture of this one so far.
Next up two impulse buys, I also picked up the Giorgio Armani Eyes To Kill in Lust Red 02, which is just the most stunning unusual shade. It's a dark purply black with red glitter running through it. It comes with a little stopper to keep the product pressed down, so I hopefully won't loose it!
Finally a cheapy but a gooden, my mum actually bought me the MUA Eye Shadow in Copper which is another really stunning shade, it's super shimmery and really pigmented, a little really goes a long way. For £1 it's amazing!!!

Autumn Impression #2 - Cooper Sparkle...

Mac Eye Shadows in Coppering, Mythology, Antiqued and Amouros Alloy - £10 each.
Charlotte Tilbury Palette in Dolce Vita - £38
Mac Pigment in Copper Sparkle - £17

As I said in my previous Autumn Impression post, Autumn is definitely the season where you can experiment with make up. It's all about those Autumn leaf shades and burnt warm shades. this time I'll be talking about Cooper shades, my personal favourite look on anyone. Unlike plum shades, coopers suit a lot more eye colours and skin tones, in fact I think they suit also everyone. I've routed through my collection for my favourite cooper shades, ranging from wearable to a little bit more fun and exciting.
Let's start off with the more wearable shades that just have that warm burnt orange hint to them. The most wearable of the bunch is the Bourjois Little Pot Eye Shadow in Bronze, This is a really warm brown with that warm golden orange hint, great for green eyes. These Little Pots aren't overly pigmented but they are really builable which is amazing for newbies. Next up is a Mac eye shadow in Antiqued which is one of my favourite Mac shadows that I own. It's a much darker brown but still contains that burnt orange tint to it, really warming. If you want to bring out those warmer hints in your eye colour then definitely head for an orange based colour, it really warms up the eye colour. The same as my plum edition, I have two all singing, all dancing palettes, one high street one luxury. This one from L'oreal Paris is their Colour Riche Quad in Eau De Rose, The palette contains shades that can be used as a highlight, base shades and even a darker crease colour, I would recommend trying this one out first before splashing out on a luxury one. The Charlotte Tilbury Dolce Vita Palette in just outstanding but expensive. It's super luxury and the shades are all amazing, the gold glitter is my personal favourite which the Loreal Colour Riche Quad doesn't come with unfortunately. Back onto Mac, their shade in Mythology is a really suitable peachy orange shade. It's super duper shimmery but great for an everyday hint of peach. A dupe for this shade is definitely the Mac Factor Wild Eyes Shadow in Feral Brown. This is really similar but has a slightly browner hint to it, once again making it more wearable. Unlike the others, this has silver shimmer running through it which makes it different to the others and will be better for those with cooler toned eyes.
Finally three more Mac products, Amouros Alloy is unfortunately a limited edition eye shadow and I'm not sure if it's available anymore but I thought I'd throw it in just in case. I think this will be amazing on blue eyes, it's slightly darker than the others but not as dark as Antiqued but they are very similar. It has a slightly brighter burnt orange to it though with a really pretty sheen. Coppering is a really fun hot orange shade, I don't wear this much but I really love it. It's quite an unusual shade and I haven't actually seen anything else like it. It's more matte than the others but still has a slight shimmer to it which makes it more wearable and pretty. This looks amazing all over the lid with bold black winged liner to stop it from making your eyes red and sore.
Finally the most fun gorgeous product of them all, Mac Copper Sparkle Pigment is just stunning and so eye catching. This is the type of copper product I would go for over Coppering for a really wow look with a matte brown or black blended into the crease and winged liner to really sculpt the eye look.
