Rimmel Scandaleyes eyeshadow paint - Review

I was desperate to get my hands on these when I saw Lily Pebble's post on them a few months ago, they just seemed right up my street.

Rimmel Scandaleyes eyeshadow paint - £4.99
I picked up the colours Golden Bronze and Rich Russet which are really lovely everyday shades. Golden Bronze is a really incredible bright gold with gold shimmer and Rich Russet is a metallic taupe shimmery colour.

As you can see, they have a little doe foot applicator which feels really nice when you paint it onto your eye lid, I always apply quite a lot and then use a combination or a fluffy brush and my fingers to pat and blend into my lid. Sometimes I apply two layers just to make the colours a bit richer and stand out more. I have tried them both out a lot and have come to the conclusion that they are great! If you apply two coats and that's it then they last all days, and on me that's really surprising, eyeshadows don't last very long on me which is strange because my eye lids aren't really that oily, but oh well. I have also used them as a base and applied eye shadow on top which works well too, however I have noticed that it doesn't make the eyeshadow last all day, but it does make it last longer but not as well as using it on its own.
I really like the feeling of applying the eyeshadow paint onto my lids, they are really nice and creamy and they also are quite cooling on these hot summer days. They are very pigmented but can be blended out to create a subtle hint of colour. The Golden Bronze one is my favourite at the moment and I've used that the most but I also do really Rich Russet too. They have some amazing shades out and I've definitely got my eye on the purple one, I also really like the silver but I'm not sure whether that would suit my eye colour as much.

I would really recommend everyone to try these, they are really lovely and great for eye shadow newbies and no need for a brush if you don't have one which is great for on the go! They are also cheap which is really good, especially because you don't need much , so they should last for a long time!
