Mac Premade Warm Neutral Palette - £65
Shades left to right: Top row- Hey, Warm Breeze, Gingersnap, Dark Brew, Dance In The Dark.
Second Row - Brule, Vanilla Extract, Honey Lust, Amber Lights, Saddle.
Bottom Row - Lemon Tart, Creative Copper, Butterfudge, Divine Decadence & Unwind.
My love for Mac is a fairly recent affair considering Mac has been massive forever! My favourite products that they sell are definitely their eye shadows, I love the whole process of filling a palette of those specific colours that you adore and being able to travel with it relatively compact. However, with the palette itself being roughly £20 and the each eye shadow costing £10, it can end up being pretty expensive to fill and own a palette, and once you start it's very addicting! Mac have starting selling premade palettes of 15 eye shadows ranging from light neutrals to much darker neutrals which are perfect for creating a look for any event! They do two versions of these palettes a cool neutral and a warm neutral version, I chose the warmer ones because I think they suit my skin tone and features a lot more. All of the eye shadows are just as great quality as Mac shadows normally are, they haven't skimped on anything which is perfect! The palette comes with a mixture of mattes and shimmers and also some exclusive shadows that they do not sell individually, which is rather exciting. There's only one thing I wished they'd done a little differently, and that to add more darker shades, I think it definitely needs a black. They should swap some of the lighter for some better darker shades because there are a hell of a lot of light shades, but I don't really mind it that much. My favourite shades from the palette are on the row second from the right, they are Dark Brew, Amber Lights and Divine Decadence which I've been loving individually all over the lid for a day time look and Saddle is a great transition crease colour .
I think the palette is an amazing price, less than half of a full one created yourself, it's £65, whereas it would be roughly £170 to create one. Unless there is some specific wacky colours you desire I would definitely recommend investing in one of these premade ones if you just want a range of neutral shades for traveling!

I've been eyeing these up lately, too! Even though I said I wouldn't. >> Can you actually remove the shadows and switch in new ones? Because that might tip the scales for me. It seems like it would be a pretty good starting point for someone new to MAC (you know, if they could afford to drop the money on it).

Haha, go onnn girrl! Ermm, I'm not sure, I haven't actually tried myself but it doesn't seem any different to my other palette so I don't see why not! Yeahhh definitely if you're willing to spend the money, I wish I'd started out with this palette rather than starting one myself!

DeleteAgreed! I picked two dud shades when I first created a quad at MAC. Loved the others but gahhhh wasted £20.
