I was feeling a little spendy recently and after reading tonnes of reviews of new products at Boots I decided it was a bout time to check them out! I like being tanned but the whole applying instant tan after the shower then showering the next day and having to start the process again is annoying. It's alright for a night out when you want something instant which you can wash off, but for this weather (when it's a bit sweaty) it can ruin your clothes. I went in with the intention of buying a St Tropes tan but nothing really took my fancy so I just picked up this Soltan Beautiful Bronze Self-Tan Gel which was on offer, I'm not going to comment on this too much because I haven't tried it at all. I then picked up the Garnier Summer Body Lotion which I thought would be great for everyday application after the shower and then the Soltan one for when I fancy something a little more intense.
It always gets to this time of year where it's nearing the end of Summer and I suddenly decide I love bright glossy lips. I'm normally either a nude lip or dark lip kinda girl, but seeing such great releases from the 'drugstore' and them receiving such great reviews I had to pick up some. I picked up two of the new Revlon Colorstay Moisture Stains in Barcelona Nights and Shanghai Sizzle. Such holiday names and I'll definitely be taking these away with me when I jet set.
I then picked up a replacement black nail polish just from Barry M, not great quality but it'll do. I also got the Barry M polish named Mermaid which is just a beautiful gold, green and blue glitter perfect for doing a gradient glitter look. I then thought I'd treat my Mum to a little present. I picked her up the Maybelline nail polish in Rose Chic, which is just so her. Shes been searching for a Rose Gold colour nail varnish for ages and I spotted this one so I thought I'd treat her.
Sadly my loved Soap & Glory Kick Ass Powder smashed in my bag recently after only owning it probably a month. So I decided to go back to the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder because it's cheap and cheerful. I think I'm going to repurchase the Soap & Glory Powder but I've bought this one to keep in my handbag so if it smashes it's not so traumatising.
I was completely draw to this brush by Eco Tools, it's a concealer brush but I thought it looked lovely for blending eyeshadow or placing powder it precise areas where it is needed. It's so soft and I cannot wait to report back.
Finally I picked up this really pretty eyeshadow crayon from Seventeen in Molten Metal. I thought it would be so pretty along my lower lash line for a summery pop of gold.
